HOW TO CHECK FOR TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN)

    

Do you know you can check for your TIN online from the comfort of your desk?

For registered businesses, enterprises and not-for-profit-organisations that have not obtained or have forgotten their TIN, click here: http://apps.firs.gov.ng/tinverification and type in your RC Number / BN Number to ascertain your TIN. Your corresponding business name and the assigned TIN and Tax office will be displayed.

Search using CAC Registration Number

• Select CAC Registration number in the search criteria dropdown list then enter the Number Registered with Corporate Affairs Commision preceeded by the corresponding alphabets e.g RC12345 for Corporate entities and BN12345 for Enterprises or as the case may be in the search value field.
• input the correct captcha image text and click on the search button

N.B: Remember to enter the RC+Number as one word.

Search using Phone Number

• Select ‘Registered Phone Number’ on the Select Search Criteria dropdown list
• Input your phone number in the Search value field, input the correct captcha image text and click on the search button
